Some people enjoy walking alone, some love walking in groups. We’ve created a variety of enjoyable and interesting routes in downtown Tampa that will help everyone get more fit during their work breaks.
WALK THE WALK
Join our Group Walks every other Friday. Register yourself as a participant online (click here). You only register once, and then just show up for the walks that work for you. Although hundreds of people participate in each walk, you travel at your own speed in small groups. Complete all or part of the walk, but make sure you log your miles in the My Diary section of this website so you can earn points and rewards for your effort.
Tampa is working to create a healthier downtown for its workers. It’s no secret that a daily walk helps fight obesity, decrease stress and fosters creativity.
Healthy Together recently launched a local survey that indicates employees are more likely to take care of their health when management participates & encourages it. (To take the survey, click here)
